Fort Albany First Nation is Cree Nation community along the west coast of James Bay. With a population of approximately 1,200 people within the community itself, Fort Albany First Nation serves around 5,000 band members that it shares with Kashechewan First Nation.
Embr Communications worked on their initial website. We created the wireframing of the website that worked with the First Nation while making the website responsive so that it was accessible on mobile.
During the initial stages of understanding the First Nation, we ended up purchasing the domain 'fortalbany.ca' and having all employees use the new domain with their emails. As a part of the brand development, I created their Facebook account to connect with their external members.
